D10ers:
As an opportunity for our fans to relish in our good taste, please impose upon yourselves to complie a list similiar to this one, so that we might update the sidebar:
HOLLYWOOD'S FAVORITE WEBSITES
The Back Room - A general discussion message board (yeah, that's right, message board) in which I participate (yeah, that's right, participate.
RealClearPolitics - An impossibly useful site that gathers useful information from all over the internets and gathers it into an easily digestible and neat format for your perusal. Kind of like a secretary, except you don't want to have sex with it so much.
Andrew Sullivan - The smartest Australian gay man in the U.S. of A. This is the professional blog of a well regarded columnist for The Atlantic. Topics range from silly videos to the nature of the divine soul. A gifted writer and a true generalist. A man after my own heart (no pun intended!)
Marc Ambinder - This guy sits across the hall from Andrew Sullivan. Much more news-based, but quality stuff nonetheless.
South Side Sox - A blog offering "Second Rate Commentary on the Second City's Second Team." I don't get around to this spot as much now that I don't follow baseball as closely as I once did, but in 2005 it was really pretty interesting to watch this small community of internet die-hards collectively freak out over the fact that their team was on their way to winning the World Series. Pretty impressive baseball conversation -- and everyone thought that Sox fans were too big of hillbillies to use computers!
The Drudge Report - This guy worked at a DC 7-11 when he started this site. Now, he's managed to become one of the most influential people in the media community, in spite the fact that his site looks like it was put together by a 6th Grader.
American Chronicle - Back when I was writing for an internet magainze for free. Sort of like now, except more legitimate and less entertaining (if that's possible).
Peggy Noonan - The woman who made Ronald Reagan. Insightful, brilliant, and smoking hot, she offers first-rate commentary on all things under the sun. Peggy Noonan and Sullivan would make a great couple......you know, if Peggy Noonan were a guy.
