D10 Cultural Studies: Sport

As many of you probably know, I, Boots himself, was once known as America's great white hope in cricket. Though I was never much of a bowler after a series of debilitating shoulder injuries, I gained much acclaim in Northern Indiana's Pakistani community for my immense natural ability both as a fielder and batsman. You might go so far as to say I was the Adam Banks of cricket. However, my destiny has since been put on hold as I pursue my career as a man of leisure, though I will one day return to take the All Valley Tournament. Since it would take me many days to explain the rules and strategy of this fine sport, I've decided its easier that you learn from watching. First is a compilation of "The Best of Cricket." This is how to play the game like Boots (That is without a doubt possibly me batting at the 51 second mark, in the field at 2:59)! This is followed by what has been called the most disgraceful moment in cricket history. Enjoy D10ers and watch for me in 2012.

  1. "The first rule of 1707 Cricket Club..." "The third rule of 1707 Cricket Club, if this is your first night... you're bowling."
