- Lou is a pretty cool customer and didn't anticipate being nervous when he met President Obama (even in the lead-in to the Oval Office, since evidently the West Wing is "Really, really tiny"). When he entered the Republic's seat of executive power, the excitement started to get the best of him:

Gov. Quinn greeted Obama with a friendly "Hello, Mr. President," as the two are long acquainted from their days in Illionois politics.
Lou, on the other hand, was a new facr for Mr. Obama. Flush with nervousness, Lou said rapidly, "Nice to meet you sir. Myname's LouBertuca."
"Luber? That's an interesting name" replied the President, as if he had any room to talk.
"Sorry, sir. Lou_Bertuca." As I type this now I am realizing that two days ago scourge of 'tha Franchise' Louis Vito Bertuca corrected the President of the united States on something.
In any case, other highlights of the exchange:
- Lou told President Obama to be on the lookout for his dad, who works the special Chicago Police detail at O'Hare airport.
- Louie also challenged the President of the United States of America to a 2-on-2 basketball game (Lou & IL Gov. Pat Quinn vs. President Obama 'Body Man' Reggie Love). The President laughed and good naturedly said it sounded like a good idea, but Gov. Quinn demurred.
- At this point, the Governor and the President began discussing the pending economic stimulus package and Lou took his cue to go wait outside the Oval Office. Out there was none other than Reggie Love himself. Lou chatted him up about Duke basketball and at one point Love casually tossed Lou a football (like any good Goosebump, Lou made the catch) and informed our fearless D10 correspondent that that football had been used in the Super Bowl two days earlier.
